Everton elected to FA Women’s Super League 1, subject to appeal

Everton Ladies will play top tier English women’s football, subject to appeal, after their application was successful.

In May this year. the English FA WSL 2 clubs were invited to apply to enter top tier in order to even up divisions following Notts County’s withdrawal.

Everton Ladies and Doncaster Rovers Belles were the only FA WSL 2 clubs to apply and the FA Women’s Football Board has confirmed that Everton were the successful applicant.

They have the right to appeal the decision, within seven days.

Bristol City Women are delighted to announce the signing of Belgian striker Yana Daniëls from Anderlecht.

The Belgian star will arrive at the club after the conclusion of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 tournament.

Bristol City Women Trio To Represent Wales In Two Portugal Fixtures

Hayley Ladd, Loren Dykes and Georgia Evans have all been selected to represent Wales in two friendly international fixtures against Portugal in Tondela and Viseu respectively.

The two fixtures will take place on Thursday, 8th June (Tondela) and Sunday, 11th June (Viseu).
