Emily Lima names Brazil squad for international friendly against Germany

Brazil women’s national team head coach Emily Lima has announced her squad to take on Germany in an international friendly match on 4 July.

New to the squad are Luana, from Avaldsnes (Norway), Ludmila from São José, and Kamilla from Iranduba. Luana and Ludmila played base competitions for the Brazilian National Team in 2012 and 2014, respectively whilst Kamila has her first opportunity to wear the Brazilian shirt. Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team Head Coach Colin Bell has named a 21-player squad for the international friendly against Scotland.

The Women’s National Team face Scotland on Friday, July 7th, at Raith Rovers’ Stark Park ground in their final game before the 2019 World Cup qualifying campaign begins in September.

Match report: Canada puts on a tremendous show with 6-0 win in front of 20,628 fans!

Canada Women’s National Team provided the hometown crowd much to cheer about in an impressive 6:0 win over Costa Rica in Toronto. Deanne Rose, Janine Beckie (three), and Jordyn Huitema (two) were the goalscorers in front of the Sunday afternoon crowd of 20,628 at BMO Field.

“That’s nine goals over two games, so we are really happy,” said John Herdman, Head Coach of the Women’s National Team.”We also had a clean sheet, so those are all the things that you look for as a coach through a game, he added. “We put in a structure in the last four years to ensure that the right players are coming through at the right times. USWNT Finishes Scandinavia Trip with Sights Set on Norway

USA Women’s National Team will wrap up its trip to Scandinavia with a match against Norway on June 11 at Komplett Arena in Sandefjord (1 p.m. ET on FOX).

The USA is coming off a 1-0 win against Sweden in Gothenburg in which Rose Lavelle scored the game-winner in the second half. It was Lavelle’s second international goal in just her fifth cap. Next up for the USA will be this summer’s Tournament of Nations, which will bring Brazil, Australia and Japan to the USA for the second four-team elite tournament that U.S. Soccer is staging this year.

The match comes just over a month before the start of the 2017 UEFA Women’s Euro, for which Norway was drawn into Group A with host Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. USA Now Travels to Sandefjord to Face Norway in an international friendly on June 11 (1 p.m. ET; FOX)

USA Women’s National Team opened its two-game European tour with a 1-0 shutout against Sweden at Gamla Ullevi Stadium as 22-year-old midfielder Rose Lavelle scored the lone goal of the match in the 56th minute.
