My football journey from Romania to Korea Republic!

Hello everyone my name is Laura “Lala” Rus, I am Romanian and play as a forward for my national team and now as a striker for my new club Suwon FMC.

This is the first time I have blogged about my football life! l have made the big step in my career and am now playing for Suwon FMC in the WK-League in the Korea Republic, in this league there are seven teams, the league games start on the 17th of March and finish on the 18th August 2014. The champions last season were Incheon Hyundai Red Angels.

Today I would like to relate to you an important chapter of my life I thought it was just a dream but it’s a reality. Teams that I have played for before I moved here were all based in Europe: Cajasol Sporting de Huelva, Apollon Lades, Fortuna Hijorring. Football in South Korea is very good and of a high standard, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased.

On Monday 17th of March we started the 2014 South Korea Women’s K-League, it was a balanced match with both teams having lots of chances to win the game but it finished 0 – 0. Conditions were great and the stadium we played in was fantastic.

I knew nothing about this country, but I can say it is a very beautiful country, and all the people here are very friendly and nice to me.I am very happy to be playing football here and hopefully we will win our next match which is against Seoul Amazones on Monday 24th March. I would love to win the WK-League championship with my new club Suwon FMC

Este pentru prima oara cand imi impartasesc povestea,marele pas ce l.am facut in cariera mea si experienta in Coreea de Sud.

Azi,as vrea sa va relatez un capitol important din viata mea ce credeam ca va fi doar un vis,insa a devenit realitate. Echipele la care am evoluat au fost doar din Europa(Cajasol Sporting de Huelva,Apollon lades, Fortuna Hijorring). Fotbalul din Coreea de Sud este la un nivel foarte bun,am fost placut surpinsa.

Pe data de 17.03 am inceput campionatul.A fost un meci echilibrat ce s.a terminat 0-0.Conditiile sunt foarte bune,stadionul pe care am jucat a fost frumos.Nu stiam nimic despre aceasta tara,dar pot spune ca este o tara foarte frumoasa.

Sunt fericita sa ma aflu aici.Astept cu nerabdare urmatorul meci si.mi doresc sa pot castiga campionatul cu Suwon FMC.

Multumesc WSU ca.mi permite sa impartasesc toate aceste lucruri cu lumea.

I am a striker for the Romanian Women’s National team, who are currently competing in FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 qualifications. At club level, I recently moved to South Korea to play for Suwon FMC! My previous club was Fortuna Hjørring, who compete in the Danish Elitedivisionen as well as the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
