 Defending Champions Korea Republic kept their title hopes alive with a 3-0 win over Thailand in the AFC U-16 Women's Championship 2011.

Namgung Ye-ji opened Korea Republic's account just before half-time at the Olympic Sport Center Stadium, while Kim So-yi and Yoon Ji-hyun added two more after the interval.

Jeung Youn-sam's side showed character to recover from their 4-0 defeat at the hands of neighbours DPR Korea on Saturday and take their points tally to six.
