Korea Republic picked up their first win of the AFC U-19 Women's Championship as Lee Jung-eun scored twice in a comfortable 4-1 triumph over Vietnam at Thong Nhat Stadium. Seo Hyun-sook's spectacular strike set the Koreans on their way after just two minutes with Lee adding the second just before half-time. Lee then claimed another early in the second period and although the hosts pulled a goal back through Phan Thi Trang, Jang Sel-gi completed the scoring near the end to leave Vietnam still searching for their first point.
