Algarve Cup 2013 Schedule

The Algarve Cup 2013 fixtures have been announced for the Portuguese tournament, with the kick-off times and venues of the placement matches yet to be determined.

The current Algarve Cup champions Germany will face Denmark in their opening game of the 2013 tournament, before meeting World Champions Nadeshiko Japan on 8th March.

On the final day of group games a very exciting battle will take place as Sweden head coach Pia Sundhage will play against her former team USA.

The placement matches will be confirmed after the Algarve Cup 2013 group stage is complete. The schedule below will be updated with the kick-off times and venues upon confirmation.

I'm traveling to the Algarve on Sunday and staying in Albufeira. Can't wait :D I'll only be able to watching games on two days (both at Estadio Municipal, Albufeira) but it'll be great, I'm sure! Is anybody else attending games alone? Let me make a small correction about the TV schedule on Monday:

Germany - Norway on Eurosport (not ESP2)

Denmark - Japan on ESP2

Sweden - USA also on Eurosport (not ESP2)

The third place game and the final game will be on Eurosport too.

Portugal - Wales currently on RTP2 television live ... presume their other games will also be televised by RTP.

US-Germany is at 1 pm Eastern Standard Time (US east coast), 5 pm local time in Portugal.
