USA Coach Pia Sundhage has named a 23-player preliminary roster for the Algarve Cup 2012
USA women's national team coach Pia Sundhage has announced the 23-player preliminary squad that will travel to the Algarve Cup 2012 tournament in Portugal.
The tournament is scheduled to start on 29th February 2012 and will run to 7th March 2012.
Sundhage will name 21 players to the Algarve Cup 2012 tournament roster prior to the start of the matches.
USA's opening match is against Denmark on the 29th February, you can view the full Algarve Cup 2012 schedule here.

I'm going to guess that one of the 'keepers and one of the defenders don't make the final roster..don't ask me which ones they'll be, that's as far as I want to try to guess what Pia will do.

I would like to see Harris playin for USWNT! She is a great goalkeeper!
Cox was named to replace injured Krieger, but I think PiaSundhage will likely put on the field O'Hara or Heather Mitts

No way Cox has speed of Krieger, that I've seen. And I agree, Harris is good, but they all are, that will be a tough one.
