
Lotta Schelin has agreed a one-year extension with Olympique Lyonnais which will see her there until at least June 2013.
Olympique Lyonnais striker Schelin has shown an immediate commitment to the French women's division 1 side by signing a one-year contract extension.
Lotta Schelin first join Lyon in 2008 and has made a huge impact in her four years at the club. Schelin has scored an impressive 56 goals in 61 league appearances. In her UEFA Women's Champions League appearances she has scored 26 times in 31 matches.
Olympique Lyonnais will defend their UEFA Champions League title against 1.FFC Frankfurt at the Munich's Olympiastadion on 17th May 2012.

She can keep her options open and might have a great opportunit economically. Remember, she is a paid athlete. Many of us may not like it but the goal is for womens soccer to have clubs that are willing to take the ridiculous risk for players that happen in the mens game
