Womens Soccer United

I love her answer when the guy asked her now that you won a second champions league, what happens next. She said the third. and then laughed. That's  hilarious.

J'aime sa réponse quand le gars lui a demandé, maintenant que vous avez gagné une seconde ligue des champions, ce qui arrive ensuite. Elle a dit le troisième. puis se mit à rire. C'est hilarant.

Haha great answer!!

she wants to die with her boots on:)

UEFA has slowly and surely grew and is growing the game. Bompastor knows it is great to be a female player in UEFA right now, especially compared to COnmebol, with the recent WPS news and that you for that WSU, and with the destruction of womens soccer in brazil earlier. UEFA has the edge. Frankfurt had krieger for the states and ol had cruz from latin america. destination UEFA for women players.

The young lady is almost 32 and probably contemplating life after she hangs up her boots. The Olympics and next years CL and Euro-13, after which on to new pastures. Maybe she will go into sports administration like Steffi Jones and Pernilla Wiberg, or run a restaurant like Moser-Pröll.  The world is her oyster. Open it sooner than later.

The great Magdalena Forsberg retired at the top a few months short of her 35th birthday but she changed the whole way a country looked at a sport. She has since had two kids.  Björgen will be 34 if she competes in Sotchi in 2014. Neuner (and Ekholm) bluntly said they had won enough and did not have motivation to carry on and wanted to go out on high notes.  Both Borg and Stenmark retired at 26.

The issue is this.  Those running women´s soccer must plan for a professional sport where playing careers will be relatively short, about 6-10 years. We must not plan for careers of 10-15 years duration. Realism.

fair enough but with the quality dispersal, older experienced players should be able to do what Raul did and go down a level if need be with a lighter club. It is a good fiscal challenge.
