Just a small question. Is it for legal reasons that you write Korea DPR and Korea Republic?
(We used to write DDR, but it was a long time ago the DDR having gone joined the Dodo.)
Permalink Reply by Gromit on August 14, 2012 at 12:03 In France we just say North Korea and South Korea... As we used to say West Germany and East Germany...
Maybe - unconsciously - because we always think that they are same countries and same people, more than two political states and regimes ?

Permalink Reply by Lutendo Morris on August 20, 2012 at 21:06 So all the games are being played between 16h00 and 19h00 which is 09h00 and 12h00 in Africa,France and other selected Countries.Maybe 08h00 and 11h00 in Great Britain, which means that a lot of people who are interested to watch the games will not able to get live broadcasting or will miss the games.
And I think the WWC in Canada will be another heavy blow to us again,as the games will be broadcasted from 22h00/00h00/03h00 in our time-zone.
He who pays the piper calls the tune. I would rather that the stands in the stadia are full and people cheering themselves hoarse instead of this miserable view of totally empty terraces we have been treated to here.
When the men´s world cup was in Mexico in 1970 and 1986 and the one in USA in 1994, at least some matches were played at reasonable times for Europe. I cannot remember what they did in 2002.
