Four Japanese officials have been appointed to officiate in the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan this August.
Referee Sato Nami, assistant referees Chiba Emi, Takahashi Saori and reserve referee Kamiyama Fusako have been selected to officiate at this year's FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
Sato Nami's previous tournament experience includes officiating in the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship, Olympic qualifiers and the Algarve Cup.
Sato will be teaming up with Chiba Emi, who worked alongside her in the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship last year and at this year’s Algarve Cup.
Takahashi has had a good long international career and was an official at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
This will be Kamiyama Fusako first major appointment in a FIFA tournament.
The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup kicks off in Japan on 19th August 2012.
