Can't wait for a new great match offered by teh young Nadeshiko and Hikaru Naomoto's (#8) sweet face and lethal strike ! :o)

This is a match that Japan would be wise to win. A draw might be enough but a bit precarious. Losing risks taking the train home.

   I cannot imagine that the All Blackettes will be easy to defeat. NZ might win.

According to Sankei Sports, the following young Nadeshiko players will most likely to be in the starting lineup in today's match against the New Zealand's women's national U-20 soccer team:

GK: Sakiko Ikeda (#1: 19y/o: Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies)

DF: Shiori Kinoshita (#3: 20y/o: NTV Beleza), Haruka Hamada (#5: 19y/o: Speranza F.C. Osaka Takatsuki), Hikari Takagi (#17: 19y/o: Waseda University), Mayo Doko (#20: 16y/o: NTV Beleza)

MF: Ayu Nakada (#6: 19y/o: INAC Kobe Leonessa), Nozomi Fujita (c) (#7: 20y/o: Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies), Hikaru Naomoto (#8: 18y/o: Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies), Yōko Tanaka (#9: 19y/o: INAC Kobe Leonessa), Kumi Yokoyama (#10: 19y/o: Okayama Yunogo Belle)

FW: Ayaka Michigami (#13: 18y/o: Tokiwagi Gakuen High School)

There may be some room for modification. In Japan, I will keep you posted every step of the way.

And I wish the young Nadeshiko the best of luck out there!

Thanks Hiroshi :)

@Women's Soccer United

You're most welcome. And I'm glad I could help! :D

Thanks Hiroshi ! The four musketeers (Naomoto, Nakada, Y. Takata and Yokoyama) all starting together, that's very promising ^_ ^

This will be a tough match against New Zealand, I'm looking forward to see how they match up against each other. I predict more stunning long range goals!

Oh, Sankei Sports' prediction was right on the money.

Hiroshi, Nakada and Yoko Tanaka were both from the three rookies you posted a picture some time agao when they signed at INAC Kobe Leonessa, righ t?

@Gromit

Yes. Together with Mai Kyokawa, Ayu Nakada graduated from Tokiwagi Gakuen High School and has signed up with INAC Kobe Leonessa. At the same time, Yoko Tanaka left JFA Academy Fukushima and has signed a contract to join INAC Kobe Leonessa.
