Colombia take on Korea DPR in their opening Group G fixture at Glasgow's, Hampden Park tonight at 19:45 (local time).
This will be Colombia's first appearance at a women's Olympic football tournament, in the build up to the games they competed at the Matchworld Women's Cup against three other Olympic teams, Brazil, Canada and New Zealand.
Korea DPR made their Olympic debut at Beijing 2008, although after a promising start they were unable to progress from the group stage.

Korea will win 3-1, I think, even maybe 3-2. They score many goals but their defense (their usual force) is not so good today.

Permalink Reply by Gromit on July 25, 2012 at 21:29 You mean that what I'm watching at the same time than Sweden-RSA is really live broadcast ? I thought it was not and was fearing that someone spoil the beans !
They made a confusion between the flags of N.Korea and S.Korea.... Oh my, my...
Korea scores right now !

Permalink Reply by Women's Soccer United on July 25, 2012 at 21:33 That's weird the player in the photo (with the flag) is the goalscorer!!
Permalink Reply by Gromit on July 25, 2012 at 21:38 Actually, this story of confusion kills me with laughter. Can you imagine an Olympics organisation being so rubbish on such occasion ?
What's happened then ? Did N.Korea refused to play ? Asked David Cameron to be sent to Pyongang ? Well, you should take the advantage and send him right away ;o)
