UEFA Women's Euro 2013 Match Schedule

UEFA have announced the match schedule for the  UEFA Women's Euro 2013 tournament in Sweden.

The tournament will run from 10th-28th July 2013.

At the moment only the hosts Sweden are confirmed in the Euro 2013 tournament with  qualifying group games still in progress to find out who will be joining them.

At the UEFA Euro 2013 tournament, each group will be played at two venues. The top two from each group and the two best third-placed teams will progress to the quarter-final stage. The winners of the quarter-finals will meet at the semi-finals on 24th July 2013. The Final will take place at the new Solna Arena near Stockholm on Sunday 28th July 2013.

This is a critical tournament for Ladies football not only in Sweden but in Europe. The stadia must be sold out. Full! Nothing less will do.

Because of the size of the country (1600 km north-south, 3-500 km east west) the organisers have chosen locations in the south third of the country, though some of Sweden´s strongest clubs are north of the equator if not the Arctic circle.

So. Encourage all your friends to visit Sweden and go to these matches. The weather is lovely. The natives are friendly. The country functions.
