The UEFA Women's Champions League Semi-Final (1st Leg) match between Arsenal Ladies and Frankfurt takes place this Sunday 15th April 2012.

Frankfurt are without regulars Dzsenifer Marozsan, Nadine Angerer and Lira Bajramaj,  and have a poor away record (losing all three of their away legs in this seasons competition), but they will have the home crowd for the return leg. Hosts Arsenal Ladies have a stronger squad compared to last year's semi-final, and coach Laura Harvey feels Arsenal Ladies are better prepared than last year having played Everton Ladies in two big games.

Team News will be posted here when they are confirmed. Details of live streams will be posted here on match day and on our Official Twitter and Facebook pages. You can also follow our match updates on Twitter and Facebook.

as far as i could tell by the hour long highlights, frankfurt won well deserved. i thought arsenal played a bit too rough, and when i saw the sequence when ellen white kicked at webers face, when they both were down by the sideline, i was sure she would get a card, even a red one, but the referee must have missed this, and she went away with a clean sheet..it was a clear kick at webers head, and there is no excuse for what white did..

also thought that one of the last additions to the arsenal team, scott, was behind much of their better plays, without her, arsenal would have had an even greater disadvantage..

I agree with you about that rough bit of play, but it wasn't Ellen White it was the Arsenal's captain Ludlow. She was lucky the ref could not have seen the incident, maybe as the ref didn't see it the FA or UEFA will do something?

ludlow you say, my bad..didn't have the chance to see a replay, maybe i need glasses..they will show the "long" highlights on eurosport nordic the next day (16th of april), so i will see the sequence again...
