There is also an interesting read here on the New York Times which states the WPS league is in danger of losing sanctioning from US Soccer, the sport’s governing body in the United States.
another rumor according to http://wsoccernews.com/ is that the league has 2 weeks to find another team or they might get a shutdown notice...
