New Zealand’s Football Ferns to play USA Women’s U-19 Team

Football Ferns coach Tony Readings will name his squad for the Rio Olympics at the end of the month and many of the contenders have their final chance to press their claims tomorrow in Auckland.

A New Zealand A side, which includes seven players who are regular starters for the Football Ferns, and another four who have been on the bench in recent time, will take on a team which is in New Zealand for three games. The other two fixtures, which will all be staged at QBE Stadium in Albany, will be played on Friday and Sunday against the New Zealand Women’s U-20 side.
