I write tonight as I stare down the barrel of another snowstorm looking to dump a foot of snow upon me, ruin my week, keep my wife from school, and shut down a good chunk of the United States. It's going to be a long week.

This is why the game exists, to keep my thoughts organanized, structured, and entertained. From the US's strange, unlikely…

Next Up? Canada...again?

I must be slowly becoming an adult, because I can finally tell that Saturday's were truly meant as a day to catch up on everything you've missed in the past week.

Most importantly: the Four Nations Tournament currently being played out in China.

As stated earlier this week, the United States Women's National Team dropped their first match to the highly ranked global entity Sweden, 2-1. While it's quick, and rather easy I learned, to panic about this loss,…

USA 1:2 Sweden

I awoke from my slumber near 6:45 this morning to read more information about the USA/Sweden match in the Four Nations Tournament. I was awake for the first half of the match, relying solely on Twitter to provide me to updates as the game carried on (anyone know of some televised/internet watching links?).

Last July I watched in person Sweden and the US in Omaha, Nebraska. The game ended in a 2:2 tie with Sweden coming in the second half for the equalizer. The game…

Starting With 1: 2011 WPS Draft

Greetings once again from the 'balmy' southern region of the state of Missouri. I've witnessed just two inches of snow, and 2 degree air temperature. I'm inside, warm, cozy, with a drink from my local Starbucks (yes, I'm an addict), and ready to crank out some random thoughts on this rather random Friday post about the most recent Women's Professional Soccer 2011 Draft that took place earlier today.

Allow to crank out the facts, with some lovely interviews conducted by…
