Belles boss: "We need a goalscorer"

Doncaster Rovers Belles boss John Buckley yesterday admitted his team needs a goalscorer as he assessed his team's shortcomings in the Women's Super League.

 

The Belles have managed just four goals in their opening six games in the Women's Super League, but with only two training sessions a week and a lack of self-confidence, they have fallen to heavy defeats against both Chelsea and Arsenal at home in the space of a fortnight.

Arsenal secure Kim-manding victory over Belles

Arsenal Ladies continued their recovery from a home defeat to Birmingham City last week with a convincing 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers Belles on Saturday.

Chelsea Ladies secured their first victory in the FA Women’s Super League with a dominant second-half display against Doncaster Rovers Belles to run out 4-1 winners at the Keepmoat Stadium.
