In the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women's World Ranking, USA remain top followed by Germany and Nadeshiko Japan.

There are few changes in the women's football World rankings since the previous edition on 7th December…

Two systems, Hawkeye and Goalref, have so far been licensed by FIFA and both were used at last year's Club World Cup in Japan, one in each of the two stadiums, where goal-line technology was employed for the first time.

FIFA said a third system, developed in Germany, had already passed examinations and that the providers were in licensing discussions. A fourth system, also German, has also been tested with the results due this week.

FIFA have revealed the final nominees for the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year award 2012 and the FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football 2012 in a press conference today attended by FIFA President Joseph Blatter.
