The USWNT v Costa Rica victory tour match is sold out!

The first fixture in USWNT's victory tour against Costa Rica on Saturday 1st September 2012 is sold out.

The venue for the fixture is Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, they sold more than 11,000 tickets during the pre-sale. Additional seating was added, which sold out in 30 minutes to bring the capacity to nearly 13,000.

Norway Lisa-Marie Woods has sustained a hip injury and is out of FIFA Women's World Cup 2011

Lisa-Marie Woods

has sustained a hip injury and will not participate in this summer's World Cup. Woods had a lesion in the left hip region during Sunday's training, and she was then taken out of further training. She has recovered a bit, but not enough to take her place in the team. This is a shame, both Lisa and for the national team.
