The Westfield Matildas are set to play Group A winners Japan in the semi-final of the 2010 AFC Women’s Asian Cup.
Japan won their final group match defeating DPR Korea 2-1 to earn the right to play Australia in the first semi-final on Thursday, May 27 at the Chengdu Sports Center Stadium in China.
Japan will be tough opposition after winning all their games. They've scored 14 goals and conceded only one in the process.

Matildas coach Tom Sermanni selected the 23 player squad that will travel to Chengdu, China, to compete in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2010 from 19-30 May.
