The Super Falcons of Nigeria defeated Equatoria Guinea 4-2 in the final of the 7th Africa women championship, South Africa 2010 to reclaim the African crown they lost two years ago.

Chinese women's soccer team failed to make a late equalizer after Japan stunned the host with the only extra-time goal in a semifinal at the Asian Games on Saturday (Nov 20).

Korea Republic edge China in shoot-out - 2010 Asian Games Woman's Soccer



Guangzhou: Korea Republic defeated China 8-7 in a rare penalty shootout staged to decide a pool winner at the Asian Games women's football tournament on Thursday.

FC Gold Pride, the Bay Area's championship professional women's soccer team, will announce today that it has folded after failing to find last-minute investors to save the 2-year-old enterprise.
