Um, let me see.. My next semester starts in February :) Until that I'm just gonna work 'cos I really need some money, heh..
Girls play in Sydney and Canberra quite often, but I can't attend most of the games, unfortunately.. :/ We also have a great uni team, but all their games this season clashed with my lectures! Agrh! :(

Yay!! Congratulations I am pleased you did well in your exams :):) 5 mins from beach, how nice! Ha ha sorry you have been experiencing British weather at the mo :-P how long have you got for summer holiday? Do the Westfield W-League play any games near you, are you able to watch?

Yeah, I actually did pretty good in the exams, so yay! :) Australia's totally awesome! I just moved to my new flat which is, like, 5 minutes away from the beach! :P But I must say, the weather has been kind of British lately.. I mean, it rains like hell! Some areas were totally flooded..

LOL @Alex, I'm so jealous I bet it is lovely there. Is the studying still going well? (when you are not on your summer holidays ;-) lol ).

Um.. I'm not planning to leave Australia at all, so, presumably, yes, I will still be Down Under... Unless PM Gillard kicks me out! :)

@Alex

Very tough one!! Will you still be in Australia when the World Cup kicks off?

@Jane

I agree with you Germany have to be favourites with the home advantage and they are the current holders. They know what it takes to win these big tournaments.

I definitely would not underestimate any team, although the view is England have a great group I think it will be tough. Mexico is a team I am worried about and it also goes on what team really wants it at the tournament. You can't afford to have one half-hearted game.

I think USA should top their group, although again tournaments can be unpredictable. For them to win the whole tournament I guess depends on the knock-out stages draw. I would imagine they would want to avoid Germany til the final, however in the recent friendlies USA have come up on top.

Group D is a tough one, I think it will be close Brazil, Australia, Norway all great teams. I haven't heard much about Equatorial Guinea except the controversy recently , maybe that will make it interesting??

Now we just have to wait and see :):):)

Here's an early prediction for group winners.......
A- Germany .... Not just group winners but they have to be out and out favourites for the whole tournament - home soil and all that
B Japan .... England won't have it easy as a few people seem to think, Japan have a very talented pool of players to select from and are making fantastic progress with every tournament
C USA ....Though after stumbling through qualifying maybe the writing is on the wall for the USA? Korea have made tremendous strides with their youth players in recent years.
D Brazil........ This squad should be coming to it's prime next year

IN MY PRESPECTIVE THE TEAMS TO BEAT WILL BE GERMANY AND BRAZIL.
HOWEVER; IT WILL BE A MORE COMPETATIVE CUP IN 2011 SINE IVE NOTICED THAT THE WOMENS SOCCER TEAMS ARE GETTING HARDER AND BETTER. SO EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED, EVERYONE.
