Barnet v Arsenal, FA Women's Cup Semi Final - Sunday 24th April 2011

Sunday 24th April 2011

FA Women's Cup Semi Final
Barnet v Arsenal

at Uxbridge FC, 2pm

The winning team from this Semi Final match not only faces Bristol Academy in the FA Women's Cup Final they also gain the last women's Champion's League spot available for next year's competition.

Barnet could potentially cause one of the biggest upsets in women's football in recent times and deny regular women's Champions League competitors a place in next seasons competition.

Arsenal are not taking this fixture lightly, they fielded a different team in they recent WSL match against Bristol Academy compared to in their opening fixture against Chelsea.

However, they may be without Captain Faye White, who had to be subbed in the 19th minute due to injury and we do not know yet whether she will be able to play in the cup match.

Barnet are the only non WSL side left in the competition, who progressed to the Semi Finals after a 3-2 victory over West Ham in the quarters.

Arsenal are favourites to win this match, but it is FA cup and anything can happen....
