In some ways this has been the longest 3 months of my life, but now that Rach is coming home this Sunday it really doesn't seem that long.
Kansas City Shock made the playoffs in the Midwest Conference only to lose the first game and did not move onto the next playoffs. Great for a first season tho and Im pretty sure the coming years they will grow in momentum and be up there with the best.
I Would like to say congrats to Racheal for making the First Team in the Midwest/Big Sky conference as well as her team mate Aliesha Cassie (scotland). So proud of Rach.. I would also like to thank the Rose Family and the other members of the Kansas City Shock who made Racheals time over in America one to remember.
Where to now..
Racheal now comes back to Adelaide to start training with Adelaide United W-League team and to finish off the remainder of the Adelaide Airport Women's Premier League with Adelaide University which still has 4 games left in the season.
Australian W-league will start in October and this year I will be helping out The Women's game as the Correspondent for Adelaide United so watch out for some interviews with the players from Adelaide and how they progress this year...Other years Adelaide hasn't gone too well but the only way is up so hoping to get as many supporters around the world to lift the girls spirits and make the 6th year of Adelaide United Women's team a year to remember.
I have also restarted the AU W-League fan Page to help spread the word...
Please join if you would like to follow the progress of the team.
Im sure I will also have match reports for anyone interested too, of the games that are played in Adelaide.
So until next time ....
