Global Sports Forum Barcelona announced that Hope Solo will take part in the 4th edition of the annual Forum

Hope Solo has played for U.S. junior national soccer teams before joining the full U.S. national team in 2000. Her senior debut came in an 8–0 win over Iceland at Davidson, North Carolina in April 2000.She was named a member of the Olympic team in 2004, making the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Hope Solo has become the team's starting goalkeeper since 2005. She has recorded several clean sheets and once went 1,054 minutes without allowing a goal. At the 2011 FIFA World Cup, she was awarded the Golden Glove as the tournament's best goalkeeper also the "Bronze Ball" award for her overall performance.

Hope Solo has appeared on the US TV programme ‘Dancing with the stars’, making it all the way through to the show’s Semi-Final. Hope will appear on the panel discussion on Thursday 8th March 2012 at 17:45pm “Sport and Entertainment: Bridging the Gap”.
