Iran retain the WAFF Futsal Women’s Championship 2012

Iran retained the second Women Futsal championship title 2012 in Bahrain , after winning against Jordan 8-1 on Thursday at the final.

Sapideh Zarrinrad (10), Fahimeh Zarei (4, 28), Elnaz Armat (12, 24), Fatemeh Etedadi (16), Fereshteh Karimi (36) and Naghmeh Moradi (36) scored for Iran, while Enshirah Al Hyasat (13) scored Jordan goal.

In the other match played on Thursday, Bahrain took third place after winning against Lebanon 8-5.

Deena Abdelrahman (2, 8, 14, 23, 33, 38) and Reem Al Hashmi (26, 34) scored for Bahrain, while Taghrid Hamadeh (5, 18), Hiba El Jaafil (31), Sahar Dbouk (39) and Sara Haidar (40) scored for Lebanon.

Iran reached the final after winning 4-3 by penalty shoot-out against Lebanon in the semi final, while Jordan won 4-1 against Bahrain.
