Qatar Womens Football League 2010/2011 presentation and draw (17.02.2011) - 1st League ever played in Qatar history.

Qatar now has a Women National Team on FIFA ranking, and a U14 Women Team.

This is a big development for Women’s football in Qatar and it means a lot for women's sports in this country.

And who knows with Qatar winning the bid to host the FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2022, who is to say that one day they might host the Women’s World Cup? This would great to see the women playing in these amazing football stadiums.

Everyone on the team at Womens Soccer United wish the Qatar Women’s Football League, the Qatar Women's Sports Committee organization, Qatar Football Association, and all the teams’ great success with the new women’s league.

Well done Asa! It's nice to see Qatar following through with their word. It was said that if Qatar got the '22 WC bid (no throwing tomato's) that they would create a women's league. It's good to see them following through.
