Scotland Squad announced to face Switzerland and Belgium in 2013 warm-ups

Anna Signeul has named her squad to face Switzerland and Belgium in the first home matches of 2011, with seven players coming from Scottish champions Glasgow City, who are currently playing in the Champions League Qualifying Round in Serbia.

 

Four Women's Super League players have also been called up, with three from Arsenal, and one from Doncaster Rovers. Two players ply their trade out in Cyprus with Apollen, and another with Boston Breakers in the WPS.

 

The double-header at the Falkirk Stadium is a crucial test ahead of the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 qualifiers, which kick-off in October.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kim and Christie playing together. That could be scary. They're both fantastic players.

 

Hayley Lauder is having a fantastic Champions League so far with Apollen, think she has 5 goals in 2 games, and that's without the rest of the Glasgow City girls in there too.
