I'm a full back (I think that's the name for it!) :)
one of the portuguese channels usually broadcasts the games, but not online, unfortunately. I'm sure you'll see some photos/articles, but not sure you'll understand them, though, they'll be in portuguese :) they'll all be in a blog we'll be creating in my newspaper's website, which is www.expresso.pt
yes, I play for 1º Dezembro, Portugal's champions :)
and yes, of course I'm going to the Algarve Cup :) hopefully, I'll be able to catch a whole bunch of games, since I'll be working there - I'm a journalist.
I'm not sure if i'll go i want to but haven't yet decided i've never actually been to an international womens match so i reckon this would be a good first match :) how bout you?
Theres no school football team :( but im going to 6th form next year and i think they have one which will good as i love to play :) yeah im looking forward to the super league it'll be interesting how things turn out, it's just such a shame though that we're losing our best players to america
Haha! Definitely try and get to that one! So glad its on ESPN 2! Surprised an overseas match will actually be broadcast! Guess ESPN is waking up and realizing that they should play some more matches, especially with World Cup right around the corner! Is the stadium for the game near where you live? I'm sure it'll be a great match! So, what is your prediction for this match? I know we're both gonna be biased lol, but what do you think? I think its gonna be a close match, because both are good teams with talented squads (not to mention WPS players will be going against each other, which makes it even more fun!). I say the USA will win though. Hoping for the classiest of competition between England and the USA!
Hey! I'm super excited about the match of your team vs. mine: England vs. USA! That's gonna be a great game! Weren't we just talking about seeing our favorite Nat'l teams or each others team play ours? You are so lucky! England vs. the USWNT! wish I could see that! Will you be going? Hope you can! I'll be watching on TV across the pond, haha!
Hello, I have tried to get someone to correct the error in publicising the Women's league Final soccer match Sydney vs Brisbane. It is on Saturday 12 February at 3pm, gates open at 1.30pm, match starts at 3pm (Campbelltown Stadium (Leumeah). Note, it has been incorrectly advertised as a Sunday match in a few places.
I loved the final Brisbane vs Canberra, felt sorry that Canberra didn't win - gutsy effort by both teams, it was upsetting to see it decided on penalty shots. Anyway, looking forward to final. Cost of tickets are very reasonable $20 per family, 2 adults, 2 children or Adult $10, or kids/concession is $5. Venue is Campbelltown Statium. See ya there!
Season just ended last Dec actually! So we might take part next season but so far, fixtures are not out yet. Hopefully we will do better! Why you not playing anymore? Injury put you out?
I agree with being neutral ... I wouldn't say I'm an avid Arsenal ladies supporter, but I always root for them to win and it isnt the end of the world if they don't :)
I really hope I can go and see some of them ... I've seen England play a few times and they blew me away, so I'm sure the games will be just as good :D and seeing as I have no studying to do over summer, I can spend plenty of time watching and playing :) Do you think you'll go and see any matches?
Well I used to play keeper, but I have a medical condition which means I shouldn't play in goal anymore, so I'm relearning how to play on pitch and I seem to be playing right back a lot :) Before I became a keeper, I used to be central defence, so it's back to my roots really :)
Ah well I hope you can play again soon, but at least you're still supporting :) Which team are you cheering for?

Hey, I'm waiting the guy send me him email or Rosana's email.
when he send me I send for u! kisses and hugs
we are currently in third place, but we are 2 games behind so they played 9 games already and we 7.
And yes I'm a keeper, but only because I had too, 2 years ago. So otherwise I would be a striker. but I can play everywhere except on the midfield.
