Haha, yes it is!

That picture was taken at a beach football tournament. Was the first time any of us had played on the beach so was quite a lot of fun! We won 4-1! x)

You should definitely get back into it (slowly)! Come to Dubai sometime. The atmosphere is fantastic. We just played in the Dubai Football 7s competition last weekend, but crashed out in the semis due to a lot of our players being injured. Our goalie had to work, too, and we ended up losing in a penalty kick-out ='(

I play either midfield or centre forward depending on the games and other players in the team. So far we're doing really well!

How come you don't play anymore?

Well I am not sure exactly how much they appreciate it now but I am sure as they get a little older we will be rewarded with the odd thank you....  :)

And yes, some mornings I would much prefer to be sleeping....LOL!

 

It definitely keeps us hopping that is for sure.  I came from a hockey family so soccer was something new to me when we signed our oldest up at the age of 7.   Can't imagine our life without it...LOL!  When we have the rare occasion of not having a game or practice we honestly don't know what to do with ourselves.  Thank God my daughters team does the winter indoor league to keep me sane!

Very much so yes.  My older son plays rep as well so between the two of them I get a good dose of soccer all year long.  :)

Youngest plays houseleague right now but could play rep if he actually decided to focus...LOL!!

she is twelve and right now is playing in an indoor league with 13/14 year olds.  They are in 3rd place right now so yes they are holding their own.  LOL!

i will be passing this along to all of the girls on my daughter's team....and the mom's too...LOL!

I've been following the Algarve Cup even though there aren't any webcasts, at least not to my knowledge.  Saw the outcome on the Holland/France game for the Cyprus Cup, big day for the Dutch.  What country or countries are you rooting for?
