Hi :) i don't currently play but i'm training with my university team so hopefully i'll be playing for them next season. I stopped playing about 3 years ago, but since starting uni, i decided to take it up again because i missed it too much. Thank you for the warm welcome :)
Hi! the photo was taken at the museum of anthropology in mexico city. This is a huge museum with archaeological pieces from acient cultures, really nice.
Hahaha! There always is chatting and complaints! Let's hope the refereeing is good though. I actually think the refereeing in the Women's is much better than that of themens game. The Womens referees let things go and don't always call every little foul. Also, not to mention, one if thebest things about the Womens game is that there is almost never any of the theatrical diving, or fake fouls like in Men's soccer. The women stay on their feet and get right back up if they're knocked down. Thats something I really love about it. Games are allowed to flow without the nonsense. Still, Ithink the referees in the Womens game do a good job, and I have not seen many terrible calls. What I'm really looking forward to is the clamor of the stadiums before and during the game, and I'm looking forward to seeing the sight of a sea of people, thousands in the stands, cheering and present to watch Womens soccer. I'm so used to seeing audiences of 10,000 at most for a Women's game. But, recently I saw a video of a 2007 Wonens World Cup match, and I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. People erupted in cheers when a goal was scored, or when a team got close to a goal. Womens soccer deserves that kind of audience all the time. I was so happy to see that people respected and cherished the Womens game so much that they came out in droves. I cannot wait to see the opening match of Germany vs. Canada which already has over 50,000 fans attending. And that stadium can hold up to 74 thousand! It's almost a sell out. That will be so amazing, to see that Womens soccer Has gained so much respect and fans. I cannot wait to hear them during games. Unfortunately I can't go, but I will be so excited from my couch too! I just can't wait. Have you ever seen England play? I still have yet to go see a USWNT match! They jump around the United States. Since there are no stadiums in NY, New Jersey is the closest place with a stadium. But the USWNT hasn't played there since 2008. They have a few friendlies
You're right on with that one! ESPN will be airing every game across their networks. I am very glad that USA lost now. Had they won with their lazy playing, they would never have learned their lesson! This wake up call will show them to play every game at 100%. it was a good wake up call. And yes, please no bad referee calls!
yeah was out of this world, the football wasnt great but met some amazing people and such a beautiful country. i went to 3 matches serbia v ghana, nigeria v korea and japan v paraquay. and yeah i sure did have a vuvuzela but was well hard to blow/play lol i brought seven back for my friends and family they took some look at me at heathrow haha :) hopefully the womens world cup is just as good
hoping to get the womens world cup in germany for a week or two take in a few games then head on to australia for a working gap year, was meant to go last year but wasted all my money going to the mens world cup in south africa but was worth it.
