1.FFC Frankfurt head coach Colin Bell leaves by mutual agreement.

After a long and successful co-operation, the reigning UEFA Women’s Champions League holders 1.FFC Frankfurt and Head Coach Colin Bell agreed amicably to go their separate ways in the future.

Colin Bell’s employment contract is dissolved and terminated at the end of the year by mutual agreement.

Colin Bell will no longer conduct the team training from now on, assistant coach Matt Ross and Kai Rennich will take over on an interim basis. The team were today informed of the change to management.

Colin Bell took the position of 1.FFC Frankfurt head coach on 1 July 2013 and has achieved great success with the club, it was at this time German Cup winners and runner-up in 2014. In 2015, he guided his team to lift the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Bell was one of the 10 nominees for 2015 FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women’s Football which was shortlisted to three (Jill Ellis, Mark Sampson and Norio Sasaki) just yesterday.
