The 2014 Copa América Femenina will be the seventh edition of the Copa América Femenina, and will act as a qualifier for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The 2014 Copa América Femenina competition is scheduled for 11–28 September 2014. Ecuador are the tournament’s hosts.
The top two teams will qualify directly to the World Cup, and the third placed team will play a play-off match against the fourth placed team from the CONCACAF region. Also, the winner of this tournament will qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics. The runner-up will qualify if Brazil is the winner. The tournament also qualifies four teams to the 2015 Pan American Games.
