2015 All-Africa Games women’s football tournament qualifiers

2015 will see the 11th edition of the All-Africa Games, hosted in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo

The qualification phase of the 2015 All-Africa Games women’s football tournament is underway as a total of 17 teams are competing for just eight available berths in the final tournament.

First round:

Botswana, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Gabon, Libya and Mali.

It is reported on that Libya and Gabon withdrew. The result of which means that the three winners who advance to the second round are Botswana, Guinea-Bissau and Mali. Guinea-Bissau and Mali did not need to play to qualify as both their opponents withdrew from the qualifers!

Second round:

Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Egypt, Nigeria, Zambia, Ethiopia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Senegal. Botswana, Guinea-Bissau and Mali join the second round.
