2017/18 UEFA Women’s Champions League | The Final

It’s decided! Lyon and Wolfsburg will contest the 2017/18 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final on 24 May in Kyiv.

Olympique Lyonnais have advanced to a record 7th UEFA Women’s Champions League final, after defeating Man City 1-0 on aggregate. After a goal-less first leg, it was all to play for in Lyon. A spectacular volley by Lucy Bronze against her old club booked the reigning Champions into the Final with a chance to claim their 5th title.

VfL Wolfsburg had a 3-1 aggregate advantage over Chelsea for their second leg fixture. After a goalless end to the first half of the second leg, it was Pernille Harder who broke the deadlock in the 69th minute. Ewa Pajor doubled the lead for Wolfsburg in the 78th minute, increasing the aggregate to 5-1 and booking the German club in the Final to face Lyon.
