Result of the Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana 2018 draw

The draw for the Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Ghana 2018, which serves as qualification to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, took place today!

Host Ghana and holders Nigeria were named top seeds ahead of the draw. The hosts were given the position A1 whilst the most successful team in the history of this tournament, Nigeria were allocated B1.

The final tournament is scheduled to take place from 17 November to 1 December. The top three finishers of the competition will qualify for the Women’s World Cup in France next year.

Ghana, Algeria, Mali, Cameroon

Group B:

Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea (Replaces Kenya)

Goal: Gladys Amfobea 13′

    Kenya have been replaced by Equatorial Guinea following an appeal –

    Have to feel for Kenya so close to the tournament kick-off.
