Alex Morgan discusses World Cup qualification and getting closer to her 100th career goal!

USA Women’s National Team forward Alex Morgan spoke after the USA qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

During the interview, in the video above, Alex Morgan spoke about netting her 95th career goal putting her just passed the half way mark of former team-mate Abby Wambach’s record of 184!

Morgan goes on to discuss what it means to have not only won a World Cup but also how it feels to reach another final tournament. The experienced international shares an insight into what was said to some of the younger players involved in this year’s qualifying process.

USWNT defeated Jamaica 6-0 in the semifinal of the 2018 Concacaf Women’s Championship to book their place at next summer’s Women’s World Cup!
