Algarve Cup 2015 – Day Three, Group stage
It’s the final day of the group matches at the Algarve Cup 2015 as the teams fight for the placement matches.
Germany suffered a major set-back losing talented defender Luisa Wensing to injury during their previous Group A match against China PR. Brazil were also dealt a blow as forward Debinha suffered a serious injury. These two sides go head to head in their final Group A match of the 2015 campaign.
In Group B, the USA are close to booking a place in the Algarve Cup 2015 final after beating Switzerland 3-0. USA only need to draw against Iceland to win the group, but a win against them will earn a place in the final!
In Group C France are looking strong after beating Denmark 4-1 in their second game, like the USA, a win in their final group fixture against world champions Japan, will book their place in the final.
