The 2020 Algarve Cup will take place from 4th to 11th March, as Norway set to defend their title.
According to the New Zealand official website, eight teams have been named to be competing in next year’s Algarve Cup tournament including the return of 2014 winners, Germany.

Belgium,
Denmark,
Germany,
Italy,
New Zealand,
Norway,
Portugal,
Sweden

 

Algarve Cup 2020 team places:

Winners: Italy and Germany

3rd: Norway

4th: New Zealand

5th: Denmark

6th: Belgium

7th: Sweden

8th: Portugal

 

 

The competition will run from 4th – 11th March, 2020,

This year, 8 teams battled it out at the prestigious annual tournament hosted in Portugal.

In recent years, the Algarve Cup has been played with group games but for the 2020 tournament the eight participating teams will meet in a form of playoffs where all teams play three games.

On January Tuesday 7th, the first four matches will be drawn. The winners / losers in the first round end up in the upper / lower half of the tree before playing one more round before closing placement matches.

Tuesday March 10th
The final will be played on Wednesday March 11th.
