Arsenal Ladies in Japan

Arsenal Ladies are currently in Japan preparing for their first International Women’s Club Championship 2014 match which takes place on 3 December against Yunogo Belle.

The English club have been enjoying a very warm welcome from their Japanese supporters since their arrival in Japan.

After a little rest, the Arsenal squad provided a coaching session for some young players.

Arsenal Ladies took part in a friendly match in which they won 5-0 against Musashigaoka College, with goals from Jordan Nobbs, Danielle Carter, Freda Ayisi, Carla Humphrey and Emma Mitchell.

Urawa Reds kicked off the IWCC tournament against Jiangsu Huatai and earned a 5-1 win in front of 1,295 fans. In the second game of the day Yunogo Belle thrashed Melbourne Victory 5-0 in front of 1,863 fans.
