President of the Costa Rican FA and the LOC, Eduardo Li has revealed that today’s opening FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup match will have a record breaking attendance of 35,000 people.
There are high expectations ahead of the exciting FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup tournament and the hosts are confident it will be a big success.
Li also confirmed that 45,000 tickets have already been sold for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Final from the 100,000 ticket target they have set themselves.
Today’s matches include from Group A: Costa Rica v Venezuela / Italy v Zambia and from Group B: Ghana v Korea DPR and Germany v Canada.
