Australia Westfield Matildas Head Coach Alen Stajcic names 25-player squad for a three day training camp

Australia WNT Head Coach Alen Stajcic called up 25-players to participate in a three day training camp at the AIS in Canberra beginning on 15 February

Among Alen’s player selection is uncapped players, Canberra United’s Grace Maher, 15 year old Melbourne City FC midfielder Jacynta Galabadaarachchi and Western Sydney Wanderers FC goalkeeper Jada Mathyssen-Whyman.

The camp at the AIS will then be followed by another training camp,this time hosted in Sydney’s west from 20-22 February before Australia Westfield Matildas head to Portugal to participate in the Algarve Cup 2017.

The squad for the second training camp will be cut down to 18-20 players, which will consist of the final squad that will travel to the Algarve Cup.

Elise Kellond-Knight and Emily van Egmond, who are currently based in Germany, will join the squad in Portugal.
