Australia Westfield Women’s League Fixtures and TV Streams 2015/16

Westfield W-League 2015/16 Season kick off on Saturday 17th October 2015 when Adelaide United host the Western Sydney Wanderers FC at Adelaide Shores Football Centre.

There will be 57 matches in total = 54 regular season matches + 2 Semi-Finals + Westfield W-League Grand Final
There are Two new venues to be used: C.B Smith Reserve (Melbourne City FC) and Popondetta Park (Western Sydney Wanderers FC)

Westfield W-League 2016 Finals Series will see the first placed team host the fourth placed team, and the second placed team host the third placed team. The winner of the each Westfield W-League 2016 Semi-Final will advance to the Westfield W-League 2016 Grand Final which will be hosted by the higher ranked of the two teams.

Football Federation Australia (FFA) has brokered a deal with FOX SPORTS and ABC TV that will see the Westfield W-League broadcast on both networks for the 2015/16 season in a significant boost for women’s football in Australia.

“Thanks to creative thinking and great collaboration between the FFA, FOX SPORTS and the ABC, the growing sport of Women’s football will be available to fans and audiences around Australia on both subscription and free to air TV,” Finlayson said.

The “Match of the Round” broadcast fixtures for the first 12 rounds are locked in with a decision to be made on the broadcast games for the final two rounds (10 th and 17 th January 2016) in late December to ensure the big end of season matches are on television.

FOX SPORTS and ABC TV will also broadcast the two Westfield W-League semi-finals on 23-24 January as well as the Westfield W-League 2016 Grand Final on 31 January, which will be a standalone event.
