England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley has fractured a fibula and will miss the rest of Euro 2017
England goalkeeper, Karen Bardsley has been ruled out the remainder of the UEFA Women’s Euros through injury.
Bardsley sustained the injury during the quarter-final match against France, in which the England goalkeeper had to be substituted in the second half of the game. Siobhan Chamberlain who replaced Bardsley is likely to start for England against the hosts Netherlands in the semi-final.
Karen Bardsley will remain with the England team in the Netherlands as they prepare to face the Nethetlands in the semi-final in Enschede on Thursday 3 August.
