England Under-23 international Bethany England signs for Chelsea Ladies.
Chelsea Ladies has announced the signing of Bethany England from Doncaster Rovers Belles.
Last season, Bethany England played a key role in securing Doncaster Rovers Belles’ second place in the FAWSL 2 and subsequently securing promotion into tier 1.
The 21-year old striker is a member of the England Under-23 international squad.
England said on the club’s official website: ‘It is great to be signing for this club and I am ready for the exciting challenge ahead. I feel I am at the stage in my career to test myself at a higher level and there is no doubt that will happen at Chelsea, not just during games but in every training session. It is an honour to be here and I am just looking forward to starting training and working with top players on a daily basis.’

This is the fourth signing for Chelsea Ladies’ manager Emma Hayes having already added Karen Carney, Jade Bailey and Becky Spencer.
