Unconfirmed reports: Brazil to compete at 2018 Algarve Cup and play England in international friendly in April!
Between 8 to 11 May at the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation, for the second consecutive year, debates took place on the evolution of Brazilian Football.
Among the topics discussed was the development of women’s football, during which the Brazil Women’s National Team head coach, Emily Lima took to the stage to discuss plans for 2018 and beyond.
CBF revealed in March this year a more improved schedule for their women’s senior team for 2017 which includes friendly matches and tournaments against some of the best teams in the world, including the inaugural Tournament of Nations featuring USA, Japan, Australia and Brazil.
The coordinator of women’s soccer in Brazil, Marco Aurélio Cunha, tweeted the exciting news:

If the reports are true, then 2018 is set to be just as busy and exciting with participation at the Algarve Cup, the second edition of the Tournament of Nations as well as international friendly matches against Sweden and England!
The 2018 Algarve Cup should run in and around the dates 27 Feb – 6 March.
If confirmed, the international friendly matches against Sweden and England are most likely to take place in April 2018.
Brazil could also meet Portugal and Mexico (January 2018), Spain (June 2018), China PR and Japan (October 2018) as well as participation in the South American Cup (November / December 2018).
