Brazil to play Iceland in last test match before World Cup

In a report on Globoesporte.globo.com, it is revealed that Brazil’s last preparation match before the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 will be against Iceland in May.

Brazil recently played Germany in an international friendly match in which they were defeated 4-0. The Germans dominated the game in Fürth in front of 15,043 fans.

At this summer’s World Cup, Brazil are in Group E and face Costa Rica, Korea Republic and Spain. They kick-off their tournament campaign on 9 June against Korea Republic in Montreal. Take a look at all the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup fixtures.

Brazil women’s national team head coach Vadão told Globoesporte.globo.com – We are still not prepared. We still have a long way… Marta and Bia met with us in Germany but they are unable to appear on the permanent residency programme in Brazil.
