Pauline Bremer signs for Olympique Lyonnais

Germany international player Pauline Bremer has left 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam of the Frauen-Bundesliga to sign for French champions Lyon.

The 19-year old striker has signed a 2-year contract with Lyon, Bremer told the local media she believes the move to Lyon will enormously develop her game further.

Bremer will become the fourth German international to play in the French league joining Fatmire alushi, Josephine Henning and Anja Mittag (all Paris St. Germain).

Pauline has travelled to Canada to participate in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 with Germany.

Bremer was a key player in Germany’s win at the 2014 FIFA Women’s World Cup which was also hosted by Canada. The Germans beat Nigeria 1-0 (aet) in the Final to be crowned U-20 World Champions! Bremer set up the tournament winning goal for Lena Petermann with a perfect cutback pass.
